Our 2025 Recap

As we close out the year, it’s worth pausing to reflect on the moments that shaped it—the wins, the global shifts, and the behind-the-scenes work that make legendary travel possible.

This year gave us plenty of stories, insights, and numbers that tell the real story of how 2025 unfolded at Fortis.

The Year of Events

Some years are defined by movement. 2025 was one of them.

Washington, D.C. — The Presidential Inauguration
Cold streets. Barricades everywhere. A city moving in slow motion. Still, our on-the-ground team kept clients moving using the only allowed motorized transport near the White House: golf carts. It was a long day—and a clear reminder of why being present on the ground matters.

Davos, Switzerland — The World Economic Forum
Last-minute changes are part of WEF, but this year delivered a few particularly memorable ones: a dinner that needed rescuing just hours before guests arrived, and a suit that required a miracle timeline. Both got handled. It was a week defined by tight schedules, fast pivots, and more than a few good stories.

A Year on the Move
Formula 1. Art Basel. The Final Four. The Super Bowl. The Paris Air Show. The Future Investment Initiative. These were just a few of the major moments that shaped the year. Different cities, different demands—but always the same goal: helping clients move with confidence so they can achieve more on their trip.

2025 Travel Trends

A few shifts stood out over the course of the year.

We saw more diverse destinations, with increased requests in places like Morocco, South America, and other regions showing new momentum.

Clients also built deeper support around their travel. More people asked for security, concierge, and facilitation layers—not for luxury, but for clarity, safety, and time.

And perhaps most notably, there was a growing appetite for partnership. Clients leaned into long-term planning, trusting us with more details so they could focus on the work that matters most.

This wasn’t a year of “extras.”
It was a year of people choosing to travel smarter.

25 Years of Fortis

In 2025, Fortis turned 25.

We gathered teammates from our offices around the world at our Greenville headquarters to mark the moment. There was plenty of laughter, great food, and a shared sense that we’re building something that lasts.

Twenty-five years in, and we’re still grateful to do this work.

The Numbers That Matter

Not because they’re flashy—but because each one represents a person, a schedule, and a day where principals gained confident momentum in travel:

Every one of these holds a story.

Set Free Alliance

This year, we were honored to continue supporting Set Free Alliance, a partner doing work we deeply believe in.

Their efforts to rescue, restore, and support vulnerable children in India have impacted thousands of lives. It’s meaningful to know that part of our year carried forward into something bigger than travel.
